Cairngorm Mountain Railway to be Closed for the Ski Season.
You may recall that, just before the start of the ski season, the operators of the Cairngorm Ski Resort announced the ‘temporary’ closure of their funicular mountain railway due to structural problems. Now, the resort is offering skiers discounted ski passes and free parking. They have opened all the drag lifts and have invested around £1 million in snow-making equipment.
